The range of questions we receive each day vary from the ordinary to the remarkable. It still surprises us though when someone asks if we provide linens. (Are there really places out there that don’t?) or if we would consider renting one of our motorcycles to a guest while they are here. (We won’t)
Although we are asked a wide variety of questions throughout the year, the following list is a compilation of the most common. If your question is not answered here or you would like further clarification please don’t hesitate to call us at 417 338 2849 and we will be more than happy to help
Do you accept pets?
The only pet friendly rooms we have available are 110, 111, 112, and 114. No other room or condo will be allowed to have a pet in them. Violations for breaking the No Pet policy will be a $250 cleaning fee and you will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds. For the 4 rooms we have set aside there will be a one- time $45 pet cleaning fee per pet per room. You may not have more than 2 pets per room and this will be strictly enforced. Exotic animals are not allowed.
Pet Policy:
- No more than 2 pet per room and they are not allowed in the pool area.
- Guests accept full responsibility for pet(s) on property and are responsible for any injuries suffered by pet on premises as well as any damages including personal injury to resort guests, third party property.
- Outside of your room, pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier and must be accompanied by their owner.
- Guest is responsible for proper cleaning and disposal of pet waste.
- Pet relief area is behind the resort building. Please dispose of pet waste in the dumpster by the garage door.
Can we have a view of the lake from our room?
Absolutely! While guests staying at the resort might not directly see the lake from their rooms due to its distance of approximately 300 yards away, our exceptional Rockwood Condos offer a fantastic lakefront experience with most units boasting stunning lake views. Moreover, our TRSC Condo property is not only lakefront but also offers captivating lake views throughout. Get ready to be mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the lake right from your room!
What is supplied?
Standard rooms:
A small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Linens & towels. Initial stock for shampoo, soap and coffee.
Kitchenettes and Apartments:
Full size fridge, induction range stove top, microwave coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes, silverware. Linens and towels. We provide the initial stock for shampoo, soap and coffee. All 3 apartment style units also have induction range stove top/oven combo.
Condominiums:
Full size kitchens are equipped with conventional oven with stove top, full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils. Linens & towels.Additionally,all condos have a private electric BBQ in their balconies. We do not allow gas or charcoal grills in the condos or at the property. We do not provide beach towels and guests are not allowed to use our towels for the pool or the lake. We provide the initial stock for dishwasher tablets and soap in the condos.
Do you have a swimming pool?

What's your reservation and cancellation policy?
Resort rooms: 30 days and before the arrival date, full refund minus a $40 fee per room. This applies to standard rooms, kitchenettes and apartments. No refund on the advanced deposit if cancelled in less than 30 days to the arrival. No refund for early departure. You are responsible for the nights you have reserved. Minimum stay requirements apply.
Condominiums: – 60 days and before the arrival date, full refund minus 10% of the reservation total per condo. (Not 10% of the advanced deposit made during booking.) No refunds on the deposit if cancelled less than 60 days to the arrival date. No refund for early departures. You are responsible for the nights you have reserved. Minimum stay requirements apply.

Do you have a marina? Do you rent boat slips?
Our resort, Hunter’s Friend Resort, is nestled next to Indian Point Marina, a premier full-service marina offering an array of amenities for boat enthusiasts. From daily boat rentals to gasoline, Indian Point Marina has it all. If you’re looking to rent slips for your boat, they offer daily slip rentals as well. However, we have an exclusive offer for our guests. With 5 of our luxurious condos, we provide FREE boat slips during your stay. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful waters of Table Rock Lake and create unforgettable memories. Don’t miss out on this incredible perk during your stay at Hunter’s Friend Resort!
Do you have non-smoking rooms?
All of our units are designated non-smoking, both at the resort and the condos. Smoking is permitted only outside and away from the units.
Are your rooms handicap accessible?
Rate Occupancy Information
Our Rate Occupancy Information provides you with detailed guidelines for each type of accommodation we offer. Please take note of the following information:
Standard Rooms: Our rates cover up to 4 people per room, with a maximum occupancy of 4 individuals. Please be aware that pet-friendly rooms are limited to specific numbers, namely room 111 and room 114. A pet fee of $45 per pet applies, and only 2 pets per room is permitted. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any exotic animals.
Single Kitchenettes: Similar to our Standard Rooms, our rates cover up to 4 people, with a maximum occupancy of 4 individuals. We also have selected rooms that are pet-friendly, specifically room 110 and room 112. Just like in the Standard Rooms, a pet fee of $45 per pet applies, and only one pet per room is allowed. We kindly remind you that exotic animals are not permitted.
2 Bedroom/2 Bath Apartments: If you opt for our spacious apartments, the rate covers up to 6-8 people, depending on the room. In rooms 107 and 108, the maximum occupancy is 6 people, while in room 203, it can accommodate up to 8 individuals. Please note that pets are not allowed in our apartments.
Condominiums: Our base rate covers up to 6 people. We offer a special benefit for children aged 5 and under, as they stay free of charge. For any additional guests over the age of 5, there will be an extra charge of $10 per person per night. Please be aware that all condos incur a one-time $130 cleaning fee. It is essential to remember that the base rate is not the same as the occupancy rate. You can find the maximum occupancy details on the condo information page or during the booking process on our website. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets in our condominiums.

Check-in and Check-out Times
Our check-in time starts at 4 p.m. or later, ensuring that you have plenty of time to settle in and relax. For check-out, we kindly request that you depart by 10 a.m. or earlier, allowing us ample time to prepare for our next guests.
During the high season from May through August, please note that early check-ins are not available. We highly recommend planning your travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we appreciate your cooperation.
What are the amenities at Hunter's Friend Resort?

What amenities are available at the condos?
Our Table Rock Sunset Condo Property offers fully furnished units with a well-equipped kitchen, private deck with a BBQ grill, and stunning lake views. Situated right on the lakefront, our backyard is just a stone’s throw away from Table Rock Lake. And here’s the best part – during your stay, you’ll enjoy a complimentary boat slip! Take advantage of our seasonal outdoor swimming pool and ample boat trailer parking near our office. The boat slip is conveniently located at Indian Point Marina.
At Rockwood Condos, we pride ourselves on beautifully decorated and well-maintained units. You’ll find onsite boat docks, boat trailer parking, 2 playgrounds, and 2 outdoor seasonal swimming pools. Need to launch your boat? The Indian Point Marina is just 1 mile away from this property. Complimentary boat slip provided during your stay.
We offer FREE EV charging to our condo guests at one of our 4 EV charging stations at Hunter’s Friend Resort.
Is there a beach access?
While Hunter’s Friend Resort is located just 200 yards away from Indian Point Marina, please note that swimming is not allowed in that area. However, within a short walking distance, there are two alternative areas where you can enjoy swimming. The first option is a public area, and the second is a sand beach/picnic area located at Indian Point Corp Engineers campground. Keep in mind that a small fee is charged per car at the campground.No lifeguard on duty.
If you choose to stay at Table Rock Sunset Condo, you’ll have direct access to Table Rock Lake where swimming is allowed in the backyard area. It’s important to note that the shoreline is not sandy, but there are other options available for swimming which have been mentioned above.No lifeguard on duty.
Rockwood Condos also offer a beautiful setting on Table Rock Lake; however, there is no designated sandy beach area. Nevertheless, you can still enjoy swimming in the cove, just remember to steer clear of the boat docks for safety reasons. No life guard on duty.
Can you accommodate large groups?
Hunter’s Friend Resort is the perfect destination for hosting large groups throughout the year. We take pride in providing exceptional accommodations for your group, both at our resort section and the condos. Our resort offers a wide range of rooms that are conveniently located close to each other, with many of them being adjoining units. Additionally, we have two outdoor seating areas for BBQing, and our centrally located pool offers easy access to all units. Whether you’re planning a memorable family reunion, a successful church convention, an exciting ladies getaway, or a joyous graduation celebration, we are dedicated to making it extraordinary.
With the capacity to accommodate up to 66 people at our resort and up to 44 people in our 5 luxurious condominiums at Rockwood Condos, we have ample space to comfortably accommodate your entire group. Please note that reservation and deposit requirements may vary for groups of 5 or more rooms and/or more than 3 condominiums.
